Shop The Look
When dressing for work, the best thing to remember is comfort is key. The days I used to only work from home I found myself guilty of wearing pajamas all day and not getting into a working mood. I honestly have a calendar full of events and meetings every week, and sometimes things pop up last minute. Instead of planning time to get dressed at midday, I have made it a habit to start my mornings dressed in an office outfit no matter what I have going on for the day.
SPRING OFFICE OUTFIT DETAILS:
Of course every day I check my calendar the night before to see what I have planned and plan my outfits accordingly. A great and comfy pair of heels goes a long way and finding the right pair is essential. On Fridays or days when I’m hanging at the house, I opt for a pair of denim and a tee. Depending on the meeting or event, you can find me in an outfit like above which is still business casual but comfortable. I know most companies allow business casual in the office and a few of my go-to companies to shop office outfits are H&M, Loft, and Target to name a few. With the blazer, it came with a suit, and I decided to change up the original look to pair it with khaki pants to dress it down a bit but still allow for a boss babe work look. When I’m done with my meetings or events, I always have a cute pair of flats in my car to change. Also, don’t be afraid to mix and match pieces you already have. You can combine a blazer with a variety of outfit ideas to make up your office outfit. I’m excited to start this workwear series and hope to share budget-friendly pieces you can add to your everyday workwear.
