Custom Closet Design By California Closets

I’m so excited to share my closet reveal designed by California Closets finally. I’ve wanted to do a custom closet for a while, and when we decided to build our home, I knew it was a must for the space of my closet. If you’re not familiar with California Closets, they offer custom closets and a range of custom storage solutions for any space in your home. Although the name says California, we have a location located right in Alpharetta, which isn’t far from me. I worked with CC designer Melody Rosen to create the perfect space for my closet and my husband’s closet as well. He knew exactly what he wanted and where but for me, I had a good amount of space to design. My designer Melody helped take inventory on what clothing items, accessories, shoes, etc. that I own and put them in a 3d design to see what closet design could work with my space and be beneficial to what I was needing.

Shoe storage, purse storage, and shelving for bins were a must. I also love how I’m able to have the free-hanging space for longer length dresses without worrying about them being folded at the ends. The amount of customization the closets can receive are endless, and no two closets are the same. You can also customize drawer length and depth, which was perfect for me because we didn’t plan to have more than one dresser in our bedroom, and I preferred to keep all clothing items in one space. One feature that is a favorite is the hanging rack. I’m able to put out outfits for the day and pair them with shoes and a bag in one area.

How much does a custom closet by California Closets cost?

As far as pricing, it varies based on sizing, design, and added features. Again, you can get custom with your color, shelving, functions, etc., so there’s no one-size price. To complete my husband and my closet, the retail price was around $8k to give you a ball price range. They have a good amount of locations around the U.S, so contact your local designer to come out to complete a free design consultation on your space, you won’t regret it. If you’re located in Atlanta, definitely contact Melody, she was accommodating and knowledgable about the product and designing spaces.

I have a few more spaces I plan to use California Closet’s for, so stay tuned for that!
