Around The Town: Georgia Aquarium

sips under the sea Georgia aquarium

Sips Under the Sea is a unique cocktail party for adults to enjoy Georgia Aquarium after hours with your family, friends or significant other. You have the entire Aquarium to yourself while enjoying cocktails, tapas and entertainment… all without kids! I was invited to this event for their Fiesta theme night and it was a ton of fun!

I was able to bring one guest with my invite and of course I took my husband. We always have so much fun together. This event came at the perfect time because I was recently saying I wanted to visit the aquarium and thought it would be a fun outing. The Sips Under the Sea definitely proved that to be true. Not only did we get to see all of the wonderful animals but we also got to enjoy a great meal and tasty drinks while doing so. That was definitely a win in my books! We’ll definitely be back again whether it be another sips event or just regular admission during the day to bring our families when they visit.

The dates and themes for the remaining 2016 events are:

August 12: Game Night
October 21: Masquerade
December 9: Jingle Mingle

Pricing information and tickets can be found here along with the different theme nights for each event. You’ll want to secure your ticket early because I have a feeling the more they do these the quicker they will begin to sell out.
