I love traveling with my family and exploring new places. Whether we’re doing a road trip or flight, my skincare routine is important. I have a variety of products that make it into my travel bag, and one of those is Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser. With my busy days, my skin takes its course with makeup and other common things that touch our skin. I started to honestly try Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser after seeing the amazing job it was doing on my husband’s skin. I also loved that I was able to grab it from our local Target. You can also grab a coupon and save $2 off Cetaphil products here.
Like so many others out there, I have sensitive skin and sometimes dry skin. Although every product for your skin doesn’t make it worse, you really never know with the millions of “beauty hacks” out there. So I was extremely happy to learn this cleanser, in particular, was ideal for people with sensitive skin. With traveling, the air quality changes depending on where you’re going, and if you’re traveling with your little ones, you need a skincare regimen that is quick and straight to the point.
Skincare Travel Tips For Moms
Here are 4 skincare travel tips for moms.
- Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser: This cleanser that gently cleanses, hydrates, and moisturizes the skin, giving you a dual-action cleanse. This is perfect double duty product because you don’t have time to use multiple products to get each of those actions done to your skin. The Gentle Skin Cleanser is the clean your sensitive skin wants, especially when traveling. It’s a dual-action formula that soothes and hydrates while it gently cleanses, not stripping your skin of moisture or irritating your sensitive skin. Being able to treat your skin to things like a quick cleanser can ultimately lead to a better you. I love to use it before applying any makeup or CC creams. You can find Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser at your local Target. They even have a travel sizes which makes it the perfect addition to your travel kit.
- Drink water: This is obvious. With a healthy skincare routine comes what you put in your body – there’s no beauty hack about it. I’ve found recently that, as I increase my water intake, I’m less likely to have breakouts and my skin feels refreshed when traveling. Drinking water helps to flush the toxins from the body and hydration can also help skin recover after a sunburn — but we know you travel too smart to get that in the first place.
- Get some rest: I know this may be hard to do as a mom but if you’re on vacation, at least try. Take a day to go to the spa, get a massage, and get a little “me time” while your little one is with family or your spouse.
- Try to limit your dairy intake: I’ve mentioned how I cut out dairy a few times and the results I received with my skin by doing so. I have added it back into my diet but it’s on occasion, and I can always tell in my skin when I do add it back – typically my body oils sky rocket and add just a tad bit too much shine. If you’re scared of going 100% with no dairy, trying it on vacation the few days you’re gone can help you take a bigger step when you’re back home.
All four of these tips are things you should be doing every day, but life can get busy, you’re not always able to get 7 hours of sleep, and you sometimes skimp on your water intake. But, using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser should be on your list no matter what. Taking a few minutes a day to yourself for a little self-care will make all the difference in not only your appearance but also your mood.
