My first post of the new year and what an ending to 2020 and the start of 2021 it has been. If you follow me over on Instagram, you know we had been holding out on a secret, our beautiful baby girl who was born on Christmas Eve. Although 2020 had it’s rough patches, experiencing pregnancy throughout it all was the best thing to ever happen for us during the year. It was such a blessing to one be pregnant and pregnant with a girl because depending on how long you’ve been a loyal reader, our first pregnancy was a girl and we, unfortunately, lost her when I was 36 weeks pregnant. It was the most traumatic and heartbreaking thing to ever happen to us but with faith and God, we grew stronger from our experience, and through the worst year ever, God blessed us with the biggest blessing we couldn’t even imagine happening to us.
Every year, we all are guilty of making this long list of “plans” we want to do within the new year and 9 times out of 10 those plans never happen or something better always overcomes those plans. I think if we all learned something from 2020 is plans can change and we have to be comfortable to go with the flow and just enjoy each day. I don’t have a complete resolution but I did decide to have a phrase for the year and it’s “go for it”. This is the year where everything I set my mind to, I’m going for it and taking the leap of faith to make my wildest dreams happen.
