Wake Up Earlier 

To avoid stressful and rushed mornings, try waking up a little earlier every day until you have at least 30 minutes of time in the morning to do nothing but chill. By taking some time before sprinting out the door every morning, you can give yourself some time to breathe. Going to bed 5 or 10 minutes earlier each night can help you wake up every morning feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.

Hydrate 

Your body gets thirsty when it goes six to nine hours without water. Your brain also requires water in order to function at its best, so when you get up in the morning, the first thing you should do is drink a glass of water. Try keeping it near your bed so you can drink some water in the morning instead of going straight to the coffeemaker.

Nourish their body 

As they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so make sure to have a filling and nourishing breakfast. A lot of people, including me, can’t eat a lot of food in the morning, so eating a little and often helps make sure that you are keeping your energy up throughout the day. Drinking tea is also a great way to start your morning that also aids digestion, drink enough liquids, and can moderate your appetite. Try eating small healthy meals throughout the day and drink tea, and not only will you feel energized early on, but you will also feel healthy, alert, and ready to have a successful day.

Work out

Especially in the morning, it can be hard to not hit snooze and keep sleeping for the extra 30 minutes or hour, but working out can be an amazing start to a productive day. It doesn’t even have to be a workout; even just some yoga or going for a walk can help get your blood flowing, reduce stress, and boost your mood. Having time for yourself free from distractions is the perfect thing to start a successful day.

Prep for the day

Creating a to-do list can not only help plan your day out but also allow your brain to be focused on exactly what needs to be done that day, instead of being worried about the unnecessary, drastically reducing your stress. By glancing at your calendar or to-do list, you can get a quick sense of what your day looks like and know what exactly takes the most time and that you need to prioritize.

Learn something

To be successful in the long run, you have to make a commitment to learning. In any field that you want to pursue, there is never a point when you have learned enough. Learning keeps your mind open to new things that come along, allowing you to adapt and conquer quickly and gracefully. So every day, try to spend a little time learning something. The pressure is always on to have a successful day but to make sure that you start the day right, try to quiet your mind and get ready for the day ahead. Whether this means meditation, an intense cardio workout, or just a few deep breaths in front of the bathroom mirror, having moments to yourself to make sure you are calm to think through the stress and make better decisions is very important to start the day right.
