When you live in the south, the weather can go back and forth throughout the entire season. For example, it’s technically fall, but we’ve had 80 degree days which seems more summer to me. But, you should always dress for the season. Of course, I don’t mean put on Uggs in 80-degree weather, but jeans and a top would be great. The reason being is, the temps can drop to 50 degrees the very next day. I have the worse sinus problems, so anything I can do to avoid a cold is always my best option. With tricky back and forth weather, you don’t want to go out and purchase an insane amount of fall/winter clothes because some of that stuff you just might not wear. Instead, learn to mix previous seasons outfits with a touch of the current seasons.
As you see with the outfit above, I paired a leather jacket with a sleeveless jumpsuit and open toe heels. This jumpsuit was marked down 60% off from Old Navy, and I love shopping previous season sales because you get some of the best deals. I didn’t want to wait until spring to wear the jumpsuit, so I purchased a new leather jacket which was well needed and styled this outfit for the perfect fall look. It honestly doesn’t take much to make a mix of seasons clothing to work. I can quickly remove the jacket if the temps decide to push in the upper 80s, 90s for that day and I can quickly add it back when the Fall air comes in at night.
– sidenote: Old Navy is having a Pre-Black Friday sale and the deals are AMAZING! Just wanted to share that with you guys. Shop the sale here.
