Summer Time! June starts summer season. With the hot temps sliding in, this month is full of fun things to do in the city. Visiting for the weekend or live here and curious how you can get out and enjoy Atlanta more? I’ve put together a list of fun things to do for the month of June.

June 9: Frye Company Styling Event

On June 9 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., The Frye Company is celebrating the arrival of sandal season with a styling event at its flagship store in Ponce City Market. The event is open to the public by RSVPing to The Frye Company’s Atlanta flagship store is located in Ponce City Market at 675 Ponce de Leon Ave. NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30308.

June 10: Women Making A Mark Awards Luncheon

The 2016 Women Making A Mark Awards luncheon will be held on June 10th. A champagne reception and networking session will take place in the Gardens at the Mandarin Oriental Atlanta and follow with an awards luncheon. Profiles of each honoree can be found in the June issue of Atlanta magazine.

June 18, 2016: Atlanta Summer Beer Fest

The Historic Fourth Ward Park for Atlanta Summer Beer Fest is being held on June 18th. The fest will give attendees of selection from more than 200 beers, as well as the opportunity to hear great live music and try delicious food. Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 after June 9 and $55 day of the event. 21+ age only.

June 18-19, 2016: The Makeup Show Atlanta Pop-Up Shop

The Makeup Show Atlanta Pop-Up Shop opens Saturday, June 18th 11 a.m.  to 6 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. By attending this show you can stock up on tons of products at a reduced price and you can attend hands-on workshops and seminars. The event will take place at Westin Buckhead. Onee-day tickets are $28 and two-day tickets are $44 (Student ticket are available at a reduced rate).

June 25-26, 2016: Old Fourth Ward Park Arts Festival

Old Fourth Ward Park Arts Festival is here and happening June 25th – June 26th. The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces is putting on this event to celebrate the arts and the neighborhood. The festival is free and is a great way to see hangout at the BeltLine. Historic Fourth Ward Park is located at 680 Dallas St. NE, Atlanta, Ga. 30308.
