August 11 – Eats & Beats
The fifth annual “Eats & Beats” event will take place on August 11 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Buckhead Theatre with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting Children of Conservation and The Giving Kitchen.
Summer is here and the Atlanta BeltLine is one of the hottest (literally) places to be right now. Gather your friends and “crawl” from Krog Street Market to Piedmont Park, hitting some of the best bars and restaurants in town. The event will be held from 1 p.m.to 5 p.m., during which you can enjoy up to four complimentary beverages along the way, as well as food and drink specials at participating locations. The 21st Annual Flashback Music Festival is set to be held at the Lakewood Amphitheater. Throwback Thursday the night away with sounds from R&B, funk, and soul.The lineup will include George Clinton, 911 Band, Parliament Funkadelic and many more. Aug 5: First Friday with West Elm
West Elm at Ponce City Market will host their first First Friday “Meet The Artists” exhibit on August 5 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Featuring the work of four local Atlanta artists this event celebrates Atlanta’s thriving art community. https://www.eventbrite.com/
